First of all….Happy early birthday Lina! Our apologies as we won’t be able to make it as we are out of town this weekend. Will contact you when we get back and we can get together afterwards.

Sharon and I are pleased to attend and looking forward to it! We will bring Spinach Dip and Baguettes for the dip. I guess this would be an appy.

PS: How many people were invited… just so we can have an idea of how much to bring?

    Thanks
    Gils

Lina, happy 3030303030! I would love to come but unfortunately I need to leave for the airport at 4pm on Saturday. :( Best wishes for a fun time. With affection, fiona.

I’ll bring some kind of entree. I know my diet is limited big time so I might eat before I get there, can’t have dairy, wheat, gluten or eggs, sucks to be me. I’ll pick up a sushi platter.

@Gils: There are about 24 people invited, of which 4 so far can’t make it.

    Wow, the big 3-0!

Pedro (aka Peter) and I would love to come celebrate Lina’s big day but we may be a bit late as I have a group meeting that is scheduled to end around 6pm. Ryoh, do you have any suggestions for us re what food to bring? Is there a grocery store nearby? We’re staying at a hotel downtown so at least you will be spared from tasting my cooking - luck you!

@Alison: An appy would be easy enough to pick up at a supermarket. Something simple would be good: cheese and crackers, shrimp cocktail, hummus and pita, etc. There is a Superstore and Save-on-foods about 10 Minutes away. I’ll email you the maps.

Also, don’t worry about being late.

Well, it’s pretty far but since it’s your 30th i guess we can go ALL the way upstairs. Maybe we’ll even bring Cody! We’ll bring an antipasto plate and some BBQ chicken.
