Fall Storm

I’m not a heavy sleeper, so this morning I was woken up by the sound of rain pelting against the window. And, because the window is inset slightly from the rest of the building, I knew the window wind was blowing hard. Which presents with a slight problem…I’m on the island. I just checked the Ferry cancellations and the 11am sailings have been cancelled. I was planning to take the 7pm ferry back to Vancouver tonight, but I’ll have to check how sailings are going and go there early.

I wonder if I’ll make it to work tomorrow…

Hmmm…. I didn’t realise windows blew so hard. I thought it was mostly the wind that blew… but I could be wrong. MAYBE… in Victoria it’s the windows that blow and not the wind… very peculiar. Clearly someone needs to get grammar check on that cheapass unsupported excuse for a computer called a MAC. Oh… wait, I know… in MAC land it’s the windows that blow!! I got it now…

Thank you very much Gils for your comments. Yes, Windows does blow. Also, grammar check does not check context, so it would have glossed over window.
