Did you get the Canon Rebel xsi? If so, what lenses did you get? I’ve been thinking about either the Nikon 40dx or the Canon Rebel xsi but i guess i’m leaning towards the Rebel. Any advice on equipment would be great.

I’m no expert on DSLRs myself, but from what people say around me and in the media, you can’t really go wrong with either of those cameras. I think it all depends on picking up the camera and trying it out for feel and also your budget. XSi will cost you quite a bit more than the D40x.
I’ll send you an email with some of my feelings and ideas about them. I also expect the XSi to come in any day now, so I can give you a real opinion of that.
